About Us

Our Mission

The Kylis Foundation is dedicated to providing a community-driven space necessary for individuals to transition from early sobriety into sustainable, long-term recovery. We believe that true, lasting recovery requires going beyond simply stopping substance use—it demands that we address the underlying emotional barriers, specifically fear and the loss of authentic identity, that so often lead to relapse.

Who We Are

We are a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operated by an Executive Director with deep lived experience, a dedicated Board of Directors, and a passionate network of trained peer volunteers.

We recognize that the gap between completing initial treatment and maintaining a lifetime of sobriety is where many individuals feel the most isolated. The Kylis Foundation was built to bridge that gap, serving as a parent organization that provides both a physical refuge and the practical, emotional tools needed to reconstruct a healthy, purposeful life.

What We Do

Operating under The Kylis Foundation, RAW Fear (also known as the Sober Social Club) is our primary community-facing program.

We will provide a physical, substance-free social club in Colorado designed to be a safe haven for individuals at any stage of their recovery journey.

Our commitment is to help others face life honestly, authentically, and without the masks of addiction.

Looking Forward: Our Upcoming Physical Space

We are actively working to secure a dedicated physical location in Colorado.

Once established, this facility will serve as a multi-purpose sanctuary designed to blend rigorous personal growth with a thriving, joyful social life.

What RAW Fear will offer in our permanent space:

  •  A Safe Community Hub: A welcoming, everyday space where individuals can congregate, build healthy social connections, and find accountability without the presence of alcohol or substances.
  •  Substance-Free Celebrations & Events: Proof that a life in recovery is vibrant and full of joy. Our facility will host alcohol-free social events, including dancing, karaoke, and community gatherings. It will also be available as a premier, substance-free event space for major life milestones—such as weddings, receptions, birthdays, and anniversaries—ensuring you can celebrate your biggest moments in a safe, supportive environment.
  • Peer-Led Support & Meetings: Hosting 12-step groups, peer-led discussions, and alcohol-free community events that foster reintegration and reduce isolation.
  • Recovery Education & Workshops: Structured, narrative-based educational workshops focused on emotional regulation, self-efficacy, and dismantling fear-based behavioral patterns.
  • Family & Parent Outreach: Specialized resources, guidance, and community forums tailored to mothers and fathers navigating the unique dynamics of maintaining sobriety while raising a family.

Our Core Philosophy

We believe that recovery is not a private hobby; it is a vital public service.

By creating a structured sanctuary for peer connection and combining it with rigorous emotional education, we help individuals move past the fear of the unknown and step confidently into their true identity. Through this work, we aim to strengthen families, heal individuals, and build a resilient community from the ground up.
